Custom behind the counter stand for signature capture device
The Abercrombie & Fitch checkout area required a custom height pole to facilitate mounting on the clerk’s side of the desk for increased security and stability. A tilting feature was also implemented to satisfy ergonomic viewing requirements. The result enhanced the customer experience while meeting Abercrombie & Fitch’s need for higher security.

ADA compliant retrofit made for a detachable mount
Continuing their relationship with Maintech, Abercrombie & Fitch requested a retrofit solution in 2010 to allow one stand at each cash lane to be ADA compliant. Thanks to our deep understood of the retail environment and their special needs, we designed a custom adapter plate. This solution allowed the device to be removed and handed to someone who didn’t have the ability to reach the device where it was currently mounted. The adapter plate also worked in conjunction with their existing stand so we were able to keep costs low and security standards high.
